240Z Side View Mirrors

I would like to tint the windows of my '78 280Z but I really can't afford any tickets at the moment. A good way to get around this, a friend of mine pointed out, would be installing the side view mirrors from a 240, from back when they were located on the sides of the hood and viewed through the windshield.

If anyone is parting out a 240Z or just happens to have some mirrors laying around, please get in touch.

Thanks in advance,
Julian

I don't have mirrors, but why the hell would black out your windows to the point where you can't see out of them at night and need to see them through the windshield? Lastly 240z's in the US never had fender mirrors, only the JDM z cars had them. You can pick them up for somewhere around $2-400 used/new on ebay and auctions sites.

Haha

I don't plan on tinting them very dark at all, but California law doesn't allow any tint whatsoever on windows through which you view the side mirrors if there's also any on the rear window.

Damn though, thanks for the heads up on American models not having them.

That's a shame.
