I am in dire need of a manual 5-spd tranny for my 83' 280zx. I am currently trying to restore it back to its former glory and can't afford to continue without the transmission first.

How can you tel if it is a 77 5 speed or a 83 5 speed?

 

$400 + shipping -out of a 1983 turbo with about 100k miles - no known problems (was my car so I know history) I presume it is a BW tranny but I will have to pull it. From what I read UPS will ship for about $70. I might be able to throw in some other things as a bonus depending on what I have and what you need.

 

Well, I actually just found one locally for my exact car. Non-turbo sadly haha.

If you happen to have the t-top sun visors, a center console, a hood emblem, and the passenger side t-top glass though i'd be happy to buy that off of you.

 

I have no idea to be honest, i'm new to the whole car thing haha. I just know that I have an '83.

I do believe I need an l28et, if that helps.
