What front speakers are you running?
One of my front speakers blew due to "not enough power". The creates an "opportunity for me to try a different set/brand. I have Alpine Type-S and I am thinking of going Infinity Cappa or Reference. The thing is, I could never get the Alpines to fit quite right even in the spacer I made out of the stock speaker. SO what are you running that fits correctly and sounds good at the same time? I asked a few months back on motoring and no one seemed to have an answer.
TIA

Hahaha, I liked how you phrased everything.
I don't have a 350Z but if you're curious about sound of those:
I have infinity references (4") in the front of my 280ZX and infinity kappas(6.5") in the back.
The kappas, although they are more expensive, are much better because:
- they weigh less (yay!)
- they have an external cross over so you shouldn't be blowing them due to wrong frequencies going to the wrong components
- also they can handle alot more RMS and peak wattage than the references and all together I believe they sound better.
As for your sizes.... I'm sorry, I have no clue about the new Z's stereo size, but thought I'd give you some info on the speakers and get this thread rolling
Good luck :-D

No, I didn't install them...it was a custom upgrade from the dealer. They replaced all interior speakers and added tweeters next to the mids behind the headrests. Sorry, I can't speak to clearance.
