Website Update

Alright guys. Well I have sort of taken it upon myself to re-create the website. (Hopefully none of you have a problem with this) The new site that I am going to be creating is going to be self maintained, (ie. no more html files to be uploaded with every update and what not) I guess the easiest way to describe it, would be to say it will be like my350 and 350z motoring. Everyone will have their own log in, will be able to add news and updates to the site. It will not be a traditional HTML site anymore... This site is going to take A LOT of time to create. There are 100's scripts and codes that need to be created.

Now my question is, how do we want this page to look? Have more of a business feel? Straight, clean cut page. or more of a fun site?

Its hard for me to talk about the site, because I have been in the process of creating it the last week or so... and now I have dedicated my entire sunday to working on this, so hopefull this will come out right and we'll have our out site to enjoy.

I guess updating is always good. Does that mean this site will be down for sometime or is this a completely different site altogether?

For a look I would say just a nice blend of bussiness and fun... nothing to over the top...just saw a site that had a black background which can kind of made some words and colors hard to read.

What did you have in mind so far for the overall scheme?

Its a whole different site altogether. When the site Im building is done, we will all migrate over to the new one. The new site I am building, we have our own forum.

I have a few ideas, but I have no way to really describe it. I think Im going to make it easy on myself and see if I can purchase a theme to save me some time, so this is actually going to cost a few pennys.

Gotcha! Depending on the cost maybe you want to see if others want to help since we will all expect to use it. I think its cool that you are willing to put forth the money for another site... it should be cool to also have a seperate site too.

Let me know if you need help bearing the weight of the costs of the project. Can't offer my computer expertise because I have none, lol.
