It seems my IS300 started life in Glendale AZ on March 06, 2001 as a leased vehicle. Then it went to the auto auction and was picked up by Saturn of Henderson on July 18, 2003 with 40,239 miles on it. It was then purchased by my dad on August 13, 2003 (which is his birthday). Interesting, I really want to try the Chevelle...

 

Interesting... but I still don't know where the 86 300zx Turbo I bought this morning came from! There's no history anywhere on it before 1995 at 115,000 miles.

 

It is possible that VIN records are kept only for the last 10 years.
