Stock baseline dyno...

Got a baseline test done today (3 pulls). Was curious to what I was putting down prior to installing any mods. Needless to say, I'm impressed.

353rwhp / 337rwt

I'm hoping that LT headers, intake, X-pipe and tune will put me at about 420rwhp or so.

The only thing is I hear dynojets read high. I asked the shop owner what his machine corrects for. He said the only corrections were for the alitude (2500'). Either way, the actual number is moot. I just need a baseline and will use the same dyno after installing my mods (when I get the wife to release the fundage).

Those are some nice numbers. I wish I could have had those numbers being NA on my Z. I am hoping to be at 400whp once the revup cams are installed and retuned at 7psi.

nice numbers... the only thing I'd like to see is that torque line a bit smoother. Seems to trail off a bit early. that HP line is pretty solid.

That's fairly common with most LS1/2/6 motors. The torque under the curve is awesome. I spend very little time at 5k rpm+.

Once he opens the flow up +tune, that TQ curve will be looking mighty sweet and then we can race for pinks

Anyone know why the A/F dips at or about 5200rpm and if that should be of any concern? I assume the lower it is, the richer the mixture?

The lower the # the richer the mix. That's common for stock maps, it's how they make the motor "safe".

If you guys are serious about setting up a dyno day let me know. I can have something arranged for you.

We need to eat. HDPD needs Z06 Funds. Eat at Jun's and it's a win win situation.
