Spotter cards

It'll be $120 for 1000 2-sided glossy, full-color cards (minimum order) at Kinkos, so about $10 a piece for the website members (or less if the other members chip in). I'll include a poll to gauge interest. If we agree to do it, I'll collect the $$ at our next meet and we should have the cards 4-5 business days later.

Also, Planet Nissan is interested in passing our cards to Z owners, so I will drop some off there, can someone check the other dealers?

I don't know if we need color - that would save a lot of money. You can get paper that is made for cards, already perforated, and print on any color printer. Save lots of $$$.

Yeah, we're not Infiniti drivers. They'd have their cards frosted with gold flakes.

I think the current club members should be the ones handing out cards, not planet nissan or anyone else. $10 a piece is fine.

But then again Rob has a point, as most (not saying all) times the card will just end up being tossed anyway. I also agree that simpler is better ie cheaper

You all bring up good points. If we do decide the more inexpensive route, I'll volunteer with the printing process.

What's wrong with a dealer handing out a few cards to new Z/G owners? We'll have 1000 of them for Pete's sake.

Also, I see a lot of negative posts here but it's 8-0 in the poll. The only other solution presented here is to make some cheap inkjet cards on perforated paper, which is cool if that's what everyone wants. But if we don't want to look like a second-rate Sin City poser club, then this is the best route. I'm open to any other suggestions you may have.

Sorry for being frank, but the griping is counter-productive.

I just feel like that the cards are for us as club members to decide the cars and the people that we want in the club. The dealer is not going to care what kind of person or car they give a card too. If we knew someone like Jimbo at all the dealerships that would be great. I do like that dual logo better.

I have been swayed. Quality is the way to go. Plus $10 is only half a lap dance. No biggie.

Any movement on the spotter cards? I pulled up next to a guy in a ppw yesterday with a greddy exhaust and the guy says that he has more stuff on the way. Wheels and more engine mods(tt?). I directed him to this site because it's easier to say zdriver than explain 350nv.com. (nv,envy) hard to explain at a light. A spotter card would have been so much easier.

Hey guys, kind of jumping in here, but if you need me to, I can design a spotted cards by gathering all your ideas and putting them into it. I have successfully designed 3 version for the ZCOU and would love to integrate your logo into one.

What size would you like the card to be? Or what does it have to be at that price? 4x6 is what we used, just 2 to a sheet though.

It just sounded like a new card was being thought up in the last few posts.
