Wal-mart has started putting out the demo XBOX 360s in their stores in preparation for the November 22 release. I played a little bit of King Kong today and all I have to say is that I definitely have to have one. I think I'm pretty much screwed though since preorders are nonexistent and $399.00 is pretty steep. I guess I'll be one of the nerds hanging out in front of Best Buy on the night of the 21st?!

 

I've played it too. Best Buy, walmart, fry's, tar'get, dont take pre-orders.

 

I don't know if the BX will stock enough of the 360... you never know!

 

best buy takes pre-orders, I work there, we have been taking pre orders for months now.

 

^^^Do you know if they are still doing the pre-orders? I keep hearing that most people won't get theirs until the start of 2006 or later?!

 

If you have to wait that long, you might as well get the PS3!

 

Yeah, I'd wait and get either one (or both) when the BX sell them. You save on tax and use that money for a game!

I'm still playing emulators/XBMC on Xbox. I modded it when it first came out so I screwed myself out of Xbox Live.

I guess I've just grown out popular games

 

Well getting one tonight looks impossible. I tried to call Best Buy but their phones have been busy for hours. Wal-mart is not selling them persee.....they are giving out tickets and holding a raffle at 10:00.....if you get picked...then you can buy one....WTF ?
