Paint Job Cost?

I'm calling around for quotes on getting my new bumper painted, and I've heard from $300 to $500. 1010Custom quoted me $350. Paint only. Is that screwed or what? Nforce, I know you said your guy isn't doing any more Z's, but all I need is painting. No install. Ideas?

1010 does a good job, but they are not known for bieng cheap. I have already tried going the route of Aarif's guy, but he is hard core about not ever seeing a 350Z part again. Let me know if you find someone good because I just got a fiberglass hood for the Chevelle that needs painting.

Dropped off the bumper to get painted this afternoon at a small place in Henderson. It might be ready by Tuesday - he pointed out something interesting to me while I was there. My factory bumper didn't match my fenders. I know it's different materials, but damn. Does anyone else have this? Look closely, right where they meet. It's really subltle, but you can see it.

About $250. I should know how it looks in time for the Tuesday meeting. He looked up the color code while I was still there.

I had the same thing pointed out to me when I took mine in for repair. The painter says they are all like that. The plastic parts don't match the rest of the car.

Got the bumper back. Looks pretty good. Paid $235. Needs to be finished off with a buffer after installing it, though. Here's some pix...
