is there a tech. question thrend??? being a 1st time z owner just wondering if there was a certain type of oil the works better in the z then others????

 

I'm a fan of redline, but if you ask 10 different people you might get a dozen different answers.

 

I would also like to know what other people use.

 

Amsoil is my fav

 

I'll probably be running Redline or Amsoil. Depending which I can get more easily.

 

Currently I am running Mobile 1 synthetic.....but Amsoil sounds good....I might go to that next oil change.

 

I'll probably be a distributer by the end of the week for Amsoil.

Any location I can buy amsoil or do I have to order it online?

 

I'm currently using Royal Purple synthetic.

 

There are distributors in Vegas. We'll push Len to become a distributor and get it from him.

How are amsoils other fluids? Diff/Tranny?

 

I knew some of mustang guys with 1,000-1,800rwhp used Mobile 1 synthetic and i also use it too.

The Z i don't know.

 

I've been running Royal Purple Synthetic for the last 6 months and it is as good as Mobil 1....and supposedly cheaper in the long run. I will probably go back to Mobil 1 Synthetic just because it gets me under the car a little more often to check things out.

 

I'm currently running Enos (Nippon) synthetic 0W20. Car seems happy and runs strong.
