I definitely want to. I might hit test and tune early though. I hate waiting in line. Though I should be faster once the sun goes down.

Anyone know how to install a boost controller btw?

 

i have done it with a friend on my rsx but not sure how confident i would be to do it myself. What kind is it? Does it have instructions?

it was relatively easy on my rsx... a couple wires and a couple of vacuum lines.

 

Haven't even decided yet. Will most likely just be a manual controller. They're pretty simple from what I understand.

 

even the electronic ones are pretty simple. I used the Apexi AVC-R and LOVED it. I was able to do boost by gear so it helped control my traction in first-third gear by gradually bringing the boost up through the gears. I only ran 5psi in first, 6 in second, 8 in third, and then 10 in fourth. The functionality of the boost controller was very good. I would recommend a good electronic boost controller if you can have a tuner dial it in (you can setup multiple boost levels and switch with the push of a button).... you wouldnt have to get it tuned right away if you can just run on your wastgates, you would just have to leave it turned off till VRT (or any good tuner) could get it dialed in.
