LVR/PCA Open Track Days

Who: Las Vegas Region Porsche Club, Las Vegas Region SCCA
What: High Performance Driver Education
Where: Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, Pahrump, NV
When: Sat. Oct. 15th & Sun. Oct. 16th
How Much: $175/day or $300 for both days

This will be run on the new 3.8 mile configuration!

What You Will Need:

Helmet SNELL 95 or better
Long Pants
Long Sleeve Shirt
Close Toed Shoes
Bring $30 in case they make you buy a headsock.

Lunch will be provided.

Instructors are free for student/beginners.

Timing will not be available.

The SCCA/PCA events are the safest and strictest when it comes to these type of events so no worries about ruining your car. There is only one short wall along the whole track and they tell you how not to hit it. My dad went to their last event and he was really nervous and having second thoughts. By the end of the first day he was loving it and now he wants to do it again. Ty (roneski) was the same way.

Once again, I will most likely be out of town, but if I am in town I may go Sunday only.

Damn, got company in town that weekend. I might still go anyways, it's pretty awesome and totally worth the money. I learned a whole lot about driving that day.

Yes, staying on the track is typically a good thing. But if you insist upon going off roading I can recommend the gravel in turn 3... it's like butter.
