Well. Me and Aaron got there like 3 minutes after 9. They told us tech closed at 9, nd that they had even closed like 15 minutes early. So now we drove all that way to watch. I pay 13 bucks so that I can park inside the pit area. Security guard snatches the tickets out of my hand with an attitude and says that we were parked in a fire lane. So I told him that he didnt need to be snatching **** out of my hands, and he told me that maybe I should do like I'm supposed to and not park in fire lanes. We could have got so many runs in because it wasnt even busy. Pisses me off

If you are late, you are late no reason to bitch about it. Its like trying to buy something, being a few dollars short, and then getting mad at the store for not giving you those few dollars off.

LOL!

Did they make you guys pay the $20 to run before you got to tech?

We weren't late. My cell said 9PM. Lady wouldn't give me a tech card, said the guys had shut down and left 10 minutes early. Not only that, they shut down the track an hour early because they didn't think there were enough cars. Does the movie theater not show a movie because they only sold 5 tickets?

They would if it cost them as much money per hour to run as it does the drag strip. Thats an hour less pay for every employee and an hour less to run all of those expensive *** lights.

You're entitled to your opinion. It's my opinion that if you're there at 9, you're on time. If you're there at 9:01, you're late. The point is, they closed 10 minutes early, so it wouldn't have mattered if we got there at 8:55.

That's fine, but the schedule says Midnight. If you want to close at 11, just change the schedule. It's not right for any business to kick paying customers out early just because they feel like it.

Hey, I destroyed those chicken legs hella quick LOL. I wasnt really upset about the not being able to race part...Slightly perturbed though. I was more mad about that jackass security policeman wannabe, that snatched those tickets out of my hand like he was somebody important.

One of the knuckleheads tried to tell me I had to let them hold my firearm or I had to leave...

I didn't leave and they didn't get my gun.

Ten minutes early is five minutes late, but I'm disciplined and punctual...

I don't blame them; plus they were probably more friendly than I would've been because I LOVE quitting time!
I don't mind going to work, but the eight-hour wait to go home sucks!!!

LVMS has always been about favoritism and ****-poor Customer Service.

my experience... every time I did tech in the Honda... I would somehow tech behind some 10-11sec muscle car. They had a battery kill switch which I saw properly placed at the rear of the vehicle.
NEVER have I seen ANY of these vehicles turned on, then stopped by using the kill switch.
EVERYTIME i go there, they tested mine. I even called the guy out on the spot:
Tech: "Can you start the car so we can test your kill switch"
Me: "Sure, but, why didn't you test that guy's?"
Tech: "We know his works"
Me: "But, you didn't test it, so how do you know it works?"
Tech: "...just turn the car on."

arg... LVMS. corporate ******, lousy c.s. too bad the facilities are awesome. like having Top Of The World restaurant dining, with dennys waiters

They used to test mine on the Chevelle. It sucked because you would lose all of your radio presets .
