I'm leaving soon!!!

Hello, everybody! (Hello, Dr. Nick!)

Anyway, Kris & I are set to leave Vegas on either the 5th or the 6th of April. We depart LAX to Frankfurt on the 7th. Then it's 3 years in Germany!!! I'm gonna miss you guys more than I'll miss the people I work with on a daily basis.

Even though I don't like my workplace as much as I like you guys, they're still throwing me a little somethin' somethin'. Go figure.

As for y'all, I'd like to do a get together before I blast off outta this place. *Sniff* I'm not sure when and where, but I'll figure something out. I'll keep you all posted!

You beat me to it, we were going to suggest a get together before you leave for Germany.

When's a good time/day for both of you Cris?

I was thinking Cheesecake Factory, but everyone put in your suggestions.

It has to be done! There's no way Cris is leaving town without a gut full of good food and beer courtesy of the Z and G (and ex-G ) guys. Who's going to head up the party committee?

Thanks guys! Thank you all very much!!!

Yeah, I think we should all get a going away party for Smitty, Zro, and I. Like Brian said: doing this -> has its ups and downs, and us leaving the Z family because of what we do is definitely a down.

I was thinking either CCF or Claim Jumpers. Let's aim for next Tuesday since my wife's last day is this Friday.

Rob, no, I'm actually having the Z shipped with me. Instead of going through with my plans on getting an R33 or R34, I'll just do upgrading with the Z through either Underground Racing in Germany or Sumo Power in the UK.

Ok, CCF sounds good. How about the one in Summerlin? Dinner @ 6:00p. Reservations highly recommended.

Brian (Scoobybri) - I'll take up on your offer now!
Aarif - I'll take up on your offer too!

^^^^^What Ty said. CCF?

I might be able to make it. Tomorrow is my birthday BUT my wife (who is my community's HOA president) has a HOA meeting that she has to go to in the evening. So I might be able to make it if she doesn't ditch the meeting.

Now, if I just knew what the heck CCF was...

Alrighty, then. We can celebrate Brian's b-day and my going away at the same time! Brian, tell your wife to forget the HOA meeting or postpone it. The president could be "sick" once in a while!

They don't take reservations, but someone in your party can go earlier between 5:30 to 6pm and ask for a table, be seated and then wait for the rest of your party to arrive. I called to be sure and they said it gets busier by 6 to 7pm, but it varies. Hopefully it'll be ok.

I know that it's late in the game, but I'd suggest Malibu Chan's. They have some of everything and it's all excellent. Plus they don't get crazy busy and they take reservations.

... did I mention that they have Sushi?
