Well another year has come and gone to only see that my precious car is still only slightly modded and my wife has found another way to back me into a financial corner so that I will have to give up my $1500 bucks in bonus pay towards paying for her college and other things. I've had enough and can't stand it anymore. So....instead of getting a divorce (which would leave me with the bills in the end anyway) I guess I will just give up on modding the car in any way-shape-or-form. This has been the main reason for why I have not been trolling around on the boards lately because of my extreme frustration. I don't know if I'll get rid of the car....it's the only joy that I have....but not being able to fix her up will probably only make the frustration worse.

 

I know how you feel.. except.. just not having any money in the first place is worse.. at least you have money lol

 

Damn, man... that really sucks. Tell her to work more, save more, then she'll have more money to spend on herself. I don't think it's your duty to support her 100% on whatever she wants. I totally believe in equal opportunity. Has she let you use her money towards what you want? If so, then maybe it is fair to support her in her endeavours. At the end, it may be a good thing.

 

Just get her through school then she can pay for your mods.

Assuming that she doesn't finish school and decide all of a sudden that she needs 4 kids, the payback should be worth it.

Well my cash is about 40% gone. Just got it today but it had to cover her emergency plane ticket and travel expenses while she's at home in Missouri. She found out her grandmother has cancer and is only expected to be around for another month. Guess it's a good thing I didn't plan on spending it....

 

hey--even if you were broke you could go out and sit in it and dream.......

 

You should try modding your car on $450/week in disability. Man, this sh*t sucks.
