GAH! Blowout.

Had an inside sidewall blow out on my passenger side rear RA1 this morning... weird.

About a 3x4 piece of the inner sidewall is just gone. I'm sure I didn't hit anything. Was cruising down Flamingo and POP!

Well, I was going to run at TNSW tonight, but I guess not anymore unless I want to run on my Mayas. Gotta find an authorized Toyo dealer. I think that Purcell is one, but they are way the hell in the ghetto.

I wouldn't take your RA1's to the strip anyways. The VHR that they put on the track is not good for them when you do autoX and track days. At least thats what I have heard.

I have looked all over, but I haven't found anything that says that VHT is bad for R compound tires.

Speaking of the tires, apparently there are no atuhorized Toyo dealers in town, but there are authorized distributors. I know, doesn't make sense to me either.

Anyways I have to take my blown tire to a discount tire who will act as a middle man to the distributor to determine if the tire will be covered under warranty. What a hassle.

Anyone got any friends that work at discount?
