Just got a call to work at the track tomorrow. They said that there will be a drift expo and of course...the car show. I'll see you guys around there if you happen to make it out. Mike, did you enter again this year?

 

Nope, going down to VRT to pick up the G35. I am through with car shows.

 

Hmm...that sucks. Why no more car shows?

 

Did the supercharger come off?? If not, I still want a ride!!

Well....wasn't impressed with the Zs that were representin' out there. I counted 4 with a possiblility of 1 or 2 missed ones. The only one that looked nice was the BRS Autodesign Z. The others were hideously overdone and didn't flow. Second to that may have been the Veilside V3 that I saw....it was white with ricey vinyl all over it. The worst was probably the orange widebody...it had a JP Aero front molded into some V3 overfenders. Sad thing was that the tires were so itty-bitty under there and there was about a 2 1/2 - 3 inch gap from the edge of the wheel to where the outer fender was (if you were looking straight down). I would say the G35s did the best. I didn't see any that were retarded and they all looked very nice. Did I mention that there were as many Gs as there were Zs? Well....lastly, the other side of the lot looked like a Scion dealership, they were everywhere. I'll post up pics later....I just got home and I'm cooked and tired.

 

That sounds a little disappointing. The D1 from 2 years ago in SoCal had a great deal of Z's.

 

Still on...and now a stage 3 .

 

I dont like preparing for them and they are boring after the first 30 minutes.

 

Yeah, the fun part about the event was the D1... except that 3 cars ended up hitting the wall and we had to wait like 15 minutes between each for them to clean up and tow the car off... that just got annoying after a the 2nd car. I wasnt impressed with the drift course they made... it needed more turns. We got there around 530, and left at 9.
