This morning, I had a modded STI pull up next to me at a red light. He started reving and all of that stupid crap wanting to race. I looked ahead and saw no traffic and no drives that people could come out of or cops could hide in so I decided to give it a go. I thought that there was no way my 5AT G35 with 19" wheels, thats completely stock other than a Stillen Stage 2 supercharger would beat this guy. The light turned green and we both took off. He got me at first (AWD) and then I pulled, and pulled, and pulled until I had about 2 cars then let off. As I was passing I could see him saying "Holy s**t!" which made me laugh. The guy was really cool afterwards and was suprised with the car. I was happy because I didn't really feel as much improvement from the Stillen as I thought. I guess I am just used to the Z lol. I am really happy now. This is the ultimate daily driver setup. So much fun seeing the look on peoples faces when that SC starts to scream. Anyways, just thought I would share.

Oh, btw, the STI had at the very least, exhaust and an aftermarket BOV. He also had a bunch of gauges on his a-pillar so he may have done some turbo upgrades.

 

Very nice kill! The only runs I have had lately are C6's, getting kind of boring. I want some variety in my kills

 

Thanks man! That was actually one of the first times I have ever been challenged like that. I never get races. I want to get some good ones in the Z.

I doubt you'll ever get some street punks to race your Z since they'll back down after taking one look at it.
