If you want to wait, maybe you can do it at the tech session on the 21st?

I didn't have to reset my ecu after installing a pop charger.

What amp are you getting?

I have some pics for you to compare. They're installed in my 2000 Mustang GT. This car will rock your house.

KICKER ZR600 Vs. RF PUCH800.

KICKER ZR600 Vs. Alpine 1000.

I wanted a kicker amp but decided to go with the MTX 600 watt RMS instead. I like it and it powers my 12 pretty nice.

Luda - When you do your amp install you will have the battery cable un-hooked for a while, which will reset your ECU so you will kill two birds with one stone. In no way should you see a CEL from a pop-charger though.

+1 and remember to just push the brake pedal for a few seconds to get out any remaining current.

Stealth i was using an old amp and when i hooked it up power kept fading in and out of the amp and i thought it was where i grounded it but we put it in my buddy's "fly" saturn and the amp did the same thing so im in the process of getting a new kicker amp.

That ZR600's kinda small (it's only got one power supply).

I run two of these. Over 21x12":

Sony XM-7547, from back when Sony stuff didn't suck.

I'm sorry but i don't like Sony. Alpine still better than Sony.

I ran:

1) 2 x 10" RF Power DVC = KICKER ZR600(Subwoofer).

2) 2 X 8" RF PUNCH = ALPINE 1000(Mid Bass).

3) 2 X 1" Tweeter, 2 x 6"x4" and 2 x 6"x9" = RF PUNCH 800a4(Hi and Mid Range).

I belive everyone will know what kind of the music i play, just not only Bass.

Like I said, these are from before Sony sucked. Their stuff today is crap. They have an amp now that's rated for twice the power of mine, but it's half the size... crap. The XM-7547 is a badass amp. I run 2 Boston Pro 10's with one and ran Boston Pro separates with the other.
