I just thought about it and I am probably going to be detailing the that night for the Rollin' Thunder Show the next day, so I am out as far as racing the Z. I may just be there with the Chevelle though depending on what time I get done detailing the Z.

This night I will be setting up for the car show the next day at the speedway. I am entering two cars, so I am bringing the Chevelle down and setting it up on Friday night, and the Z will be brought down and set up Saturday morning. After I am done setting up the Chevelle I plan on staying to watch the MM. Does anybody live near Far Hills/215? I don't have a ride home that night yet.

 

I will be racing at Midnight Mayhem. I just need to have my blow off valve installed by Friday...

Friday from 6:00pm - 10:00pm is a Test 'n' Tune. $20 for members, $40 for non-members. Members of what... I don't know. Test 'n' Tunes are guaranteed alot of runs.

Saturday's Jerry's Nugget Bracket Racing Series opener will cost $35 to enter with a chance to win money and a trophy.

 

So what is the plan tomorrow night? Who's racing and who's watching? Are we all parking in the same place? Details, por favor!

I will am going to already be there setting up the Chevelle for the car show the next day. Everybody usually meets up at Poppas before going down there. I will check the latest news on the G35 board. If they haven't made plans then I will make some to meet up before hand and drive down together.

 

Since nobody has set the plans for meeting before hand, I will do so. Everybody will meet at Poppas between 7:00pm and 7:30 for food and non-alcoholic beverages (if you're driving). Everybody will roll out of there after the usual photo session between 9:00pm and 9:30pm to head to the track.

Poppas is off of Craig Rd. about 1/2 a mile West from I-15 on the right hand side.

I will be at the speedway between 7:00pm and 8:00pm setting up the Chevelle for the Rollin' Thunder Car Show on Saturday, so I will not be at Poppas.

 

Sounds good! Where is everyone going to be at the track? Any specific place or is it just going to be a gaggled bunch of Z's and G's?

 

The spectators will be somewhere in the stands and the drivers will be in the staging lanes. I gave you my phone # so give me a call when you get there.

Probably, but only because everybody will be leaving from the same place at the same time.

So here is what happened. Aarif and I went early to set up my Chevelle for the car show. We got a call from Ty and he was at Poppas by himself. We met up, went to the speedway, and decided to leave before we got in. We went to eat at Poppas just in case some people showed up late, and still nobody showed. After Poppas we decided to go watch Midnight Mayhem and that lasted 20-30 min. before we got too cold and went home.

 

Mike, I got your message. Unfortunately, I was still at work. My relief came in at 2300 and that's when I got off. Went by the speedway, drove all the way to the back of the lot looking for a Z. None was in sight. I didn't bring my cell with me (d'oh). As I was heading back on base from the speedway to go to the gym, a silver 300ZX caught up with me at the light in front of Mike O'Callahan Federal Hospital, he and I rolled down the windows, and the dude said he liked my car, I said thanks, and then asked him where all the Zs were. He said three showed up, ran, then left. Pity I missed you all. Coming thursday is Street Wars. I get out at 2300. Hopefully it's not cold and I can meet you all at the track.
