I was going to say....The Pope couldn't get a test drive in a ZO6. They are a fun car. I took my dads out for a few sessions in Pahrump and I was impressed with the handling more than I was with the horsepower. According to the heads up display I hit 1.05 g's on the stock street tires. The whole car is stock, except for a Corsa exhaust.

the power on that thing is just insane... I love all of the small things, like the door poppers. I think that is an awesome idea! The one I drove had Nav, sucks you cant have Nav and a CD at the same time though

According to Edmunds, the Z06 can pull up to 1.1g on the lateral. It's sooo fraggin' amazing.

I saw my first 2006 ZO6 this past weekend in Huntington. It was a red one parked in front of Duke's Restaraunt. It looks so f**king sexy in person.

I was never a big Vette fan until I drove a Z06.
I am now a believer.

Saw a black one a Chipolte the other day! Awesome. Still the problem with a vette is that in a few years it will just be "another vette"

What do you expect from the world's best affordable sports car?

I drove a silver Z06 at Vista last week. Amazing, but they wanted $25,000 over sticker...scumbags.

Correction: The Z is the worlds best affordable sports car.

The corvette is a really fast, great handling almost affordable sports car that will inevitably spend more time in the shop than it does on the road... just a matter of time 'til the old reliability bug takes a bite outta that thing, and once it does, it keeps coming back for more.

Still a great car for the first 15K miles though...

Rod.
