Anyone think my track tires would help? They're 255, while my street are 275 on the rear. 60 compound vs. 280 compound.

I don't think so because the track tires have a really stiff sidewall.

I'd bet that the 17's would help quite a bit, at least 2 tenths. Not just because of the traction but because of the weight savings and distribution of weight in the rim and tire.

I that wish my track tires would have gotten here on time.

The OEM 17s are pretty heavy aren't they. I thought that wheel size would shave time as well but now I remember that my times didn't drop when I went from 15s to 17F/18Rs on the Chevelle.

I don't think there is a fee for spectators, but I have heard that there are no ride alongs with SCCA.

Nevermind. I thought I was reading the upcoming track day post. Cost for TNSW spectators is $10 and $20 if you want to sit passenger.

On a side note, I am not going to be able to make it because all of my friends are renting a party bus and going to Carnival Court to celebrate the end of the semester that night.

5. Aarif (with my friend who will be riding along)

Do we want to meet up ahead of time? Or will it be easy to find everyone there. This is my first TNSW.

I would say to meet up early because there is a limit on the amount of cars that they let in. It is not hard to find everybody, but it is hard to coordinate timing so you can run with everybody if you show up late.
