Well I'm glad that is over with, now on to better things this year right!
Now we have to worry about Zdayz.

 

Do I understand that there will be no car show this year at Zdayz? If that is the case I for one will not be attending. To me the car show was the best part of the weekend. It was a chance to see most everyone's Z, meet people from all over, get ideas for things to do to your Z, and check out other models you might want to buy in the future. Hey I love eating breakfast w/Josh in Robbinsville and most of the other stuff but am not willing to use vacation days and hundreds of dollars for the pleasure. Every event of this nature I read about centers around a car show. Anyway I believe two things concerning all this...If indeed no car show I doubt we as a club will have much if any interest in attending as we have in the past and should not bother w/sponsorship. Second if that is the case then we should, as Josh and I talked about (his idea), plan a club weekend trip to somewhere like Helen Ga. Less time/money and would think we would have a great time. Hey it's something to consider. Very pleased w/outcome of the last meeting. Don thank you for your "outburst", from what I've heard couldn't have done better myself...well maybe.

What happened? Sounds like I missed a good meeting. I have heard that the ZdayZ car show is cancelled as well. Not sure why.

 

Sooo. What happened??

 

Anyone with a Non Z car can join as a associate member only. They can attend our meeting, go on rides and functions but cannot vote. We are also looking into alternative rides instead of ZdayZ.

There will not be a car show activity at ZDayZ 2008, but we may bring it back at future events. I presume you are saying the event is not listed on Fontana Village's website. I know they have us booked and are prepping for us as several blocks of rooms are reserved for our event. I'll ask my contact next time I talk to her if they can update it on their site.

I just showed my A**, "TO ME" it appeared like the rules / bylaws were being interpretid (sp), in some instances but not others, to fit certain wants and desires, and it was just one of the last straws that snapped, being I have been struggling with other issues / concerns within the club, but hey, guess we all have our own quirks / peaves!

Actually, I got a hammer ...three of em. I started hammering last night.
my wife bought me $35 worth of them cheap tiles and told me I wanted to put them in the bathroom. I did.

When I got home from work last night she asked me if I had a hammer. I did.

And she showed me where I wanted to hammer in the evening, first. I did.

Them tiles was poppin up every where! I hammered 'em with my big rubber hammer. I did.

When, I woke up she told me I used the wrong kind of Hammer. I did.

I went to my shop and got a roofin "claw hammer" with long flat things. and I begin to work my hammer thing. pryin up those cheap (but strong) tiles. Removin the moldins and everything.

Bout along suppertime, I suppose I'll still be hammerring but right now I'm just taking a break. I sneaked back here to my bedroom to talk to my imaginary friends. When I think I don't have any friends ..I jus make 'em up. pretend sorta. After I go get some strong GLUE, I gotta go get my little 16oz hammer and finish that Job I been wanten to do!

Bryan tells me he's got a hammer. the kind you need to use when you don't want to put Bondo on your car. He tells me he works in a big giant body shop over in Greenville. I think it's the biggest in the land and he laughed at my Bondo.

therefore, Last week I was looking in the hammer stores for one of these hammers. and I saw some. There's all kinds ...and they come in kits with big metal ball things. One kit had several of these smooth, sorta round faced
hammers with lots of those heavy ball things. Expensive! ...So, I might borrow one of Bryan's hammers to see how it works (fore I buy one). He might help me one day to see how it works.

I wish I didn't have hammers on my mind today
