General Update on 'My Z-House'

Well, I have sold my customized Z32 (avatar), and I have my '93 300ZX coupe up for sale. I could not take the loss of my 'Toy', so after a lot of analysis of all kinds of potential replacement vehicles I ended up buying a '07 350Z Enthusiast, 6MT (of course )
Brandon thought that he had his '88 Shiro sold, but the guy didn't end up picking it up (deposit lost ), so he has it back up for sale.
Brandon is now married and lives in Chicago working for Fuji Graphics. He has some Z31 parts that he needs to sell (according to his father - me- ) . I know that he has some Enkei wheels (1 is bent slightly), and a T25 Turbo set up. You can contact him at bharbre@gmail.com to get more information.

Sorry - I was posting on the local bulletin board for SC Upstate Z-Club. They know my son, Brandon. He left his 'Toy' ('88 Shiro) here with me, and is now driving a truck! His Shiro is modified with a hyber turbo (T3/T4), MAP sensor, MSD ignition, SDS computer system, Stage II ACT clutch assembly, etc., etc. You'd have to contact him to get all of the stats. He has it posted on other bulletin boards, supposedly.

nice! another 350z. Those 07's are a beast compared to the other years.

Did you get it from Benson?

I got it at Benson Nissan in Spartanburg, Benson Nissan in Easley would not deal. Crown Nissan lied multiple times just to get me on their lot (filed a formal complaint with Nissan). Benson Nissan in Spartanburg went out of their way to get what I asked for, and gave me a price that I could not walk away from without any hassel. Sounds like an ad? I contacted dealers thru the Nissan website from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and as far north as KY! I have no problem in travelling to get what I want at the right price, and Benson Nissan in Spartanburg came thru for me. I think that its worth sharing.

^ Crown nissan ftl.

They tried to get me to bite on a 03 base with 49k miles for like 22-24k back in jan 05. I told them it wasnt worth more then 18k and tried to walk out. They were so pushy and acted like i had cheated them. They kept trying to get me to work a monthly payment that would fit.

That exact car dropped in price like two weeks later to 20-22k. Feel bad for whoever bought that car.

Parts and shiro for sale

I am asking $4500 for the shiro.

$100 for the t25
$25 for the main gauge cluster (white analog)
$10 for center gauge pods (white analog)
$50 for mass air flow sensor
$50 for Enki wheels (have 2 straight ones and one bent mildly, great for a pair of wheels for drag tires, four lug)

finally got my SC back on. Before the meeting in august, i was driving to Gville after my 630 lab and the bearings in the SC went out. It was making a nasty noise so i turned around and limped it back to my apartment.

ended up replacing the bearings in the jackshaft pulley myself but that wasnt a 100% solution. I took some advice off of my350z.com and check the housing and sure enough the blades were scratching it. So..........
I sent the blower back to vortech and got it back last monday and resinstalled it this thursday. Right now my throttle body is being a bit quirky and is making my car go into 'super limp mode'. The issue popped up before but went away after one time, now its hit me a few times. "drive by wire" ftl.

When was the fall drive? last meeting? Didnt see anything on the calendar.

I should be at the next meeting? Is that Nov 13th? Ive been checking this board but i dont see much posted.

Did you get the oil bypass can installed?

Crown tried to tell you the 350z was FWD right?

MAN O MAN, I would be a little more than pissed if that happened to me, but it sounds like you are finding your way out of the woods. Fall drive was last sat and the roads were great! Sorry ya missed it. Actually i gave the catch can to a friend of mine as a gift, He can use it on his STI and i could never find a place to mount it anyway it was just way to BIG.
And yes the guy and crown argued the 350 was a FWD Car!

See ya next meet

P>S> TBK1 That's Nice new pic of the 300TT
