Fire update!

well I think I found the culprit!!! Appears the fuel pressure regulator failed and was pumping in excess of 7 psi into the carbs, apparently one carb floats stuck or overpressured and gas flowed onto the headers ???? only thing I can think of!!

Anyway , melted the casing on the old FI harness, little melt on the engine bay light, brake resivior and 2 sensor wires, and of course the carbs and filters. and alittle bit of paint!

FOR THOSE THAT DONT HAVE IT, #1 fire exting. thank gosh i had one close,
#2 HAGGERTY insurance, the took care of EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

New webbers are here and on, still tunning!!! ARRRRGGG!!! And everything repaire except paint, that will be soon! And they while Im at got me, so I installed a MSD 6AL and electric fan!

HOPE i can make it to the meeting tuesday! business is wide open right now, take it while you can!

prob being you must have another driver and it must have a different insurance company, you can ask them and apply via the web
