Mark your calendars for Friday, December 2 at 7:00 pm for our annual Christmas Party. I'm still waiting on final confirmation and it might be a few weeks still before I get it.

I just wanted to let everybody know ASAP that that's the date we were looking at.

It actually looks like I will be able to be there this year. I have posted to the main webpage for people to reply here if they plan on attending. Hopefully it works for everyone.

 

Upstate Z Club Annual Christmas (Holiday) Party- Dec. 2, 2005 @ 7:00 pm
-Will be at the same location as previous 2 years
-We will collect new, unwrapped toys for the Toys-For-Tots charity
-If you wish to participate in the Dirty Santa gift exchange, please bring a wrapped $10 gift.
-Time permitting we will watch a movie following the festivities
-The club will provide food. A donation of $5 is requested to help cover the cost of food and the party, but it is at your discretion. Also, please feel free to bring a dish.

Dirty Santa works like this: All gifts go under the tree. Everybody draws a number.
Person #1 gets a gift from under the tree. Person #2 can choose a gift from under the tree or they can take Person #1’s gift. #1 gets another gift from under the tree, but they can’t take back their gift on this turn from #2. #3 can choose a gift from under the tree or from #1 or #2. Once a gift has been taken 3 times, it is frozen. This continues until all gifts are opened and all participants have a gift.

Have fun! I'll be just getting off work at 6pm, three-plus hours away in Florence and getting to bed to go in Saturday at 6am. Bleh.

 

Have any suggestions on what would be good to bring food wise and maybe your best guess on how many people will be there. I'm bringing myself and one other person, and most importantly two Dirty Santa gifts.

 

If I am not at the Christmas party it will be for a good reason...... looks like I am going on a 1300 mile round trip for some more Zs to my collection... I am trying to buy 2 90 300zxs and this maybe the only weekend I have to go before next year rolls around... If I show up,,,then the deal fell through....later
