Smacked an s2000
Wow, Ive read about the s2000 and how its supposed to turn Honda around but tonite I smacked one around like he was my " insert curse word here " I was actually very suprised. It was a good race until fourth gear, then it was all over. The boost kicked in and I waved goodbye through the t-tops. I felt like a stud. He took it like a champ though, he drove by and gave me the thumbs up.
Anybody else smack on of these around lately?

Yeah I took one last week! It was great by the top of second I had a car length + on him. It was a new 2.2 Litre and it was that new greenish blue color. It gets better his girl was in the car hehe. But yeah they have no torque so off the line it was murder. Funny thing is he was reving at me and I had just put my HKS exhaust on and I reved to like 1700 RPM and it hit really low and he answered with a really high rev. Well we went and he never got even with me after the line. I killed him off the line and then he would keep up in the high rpms but the 1st-2nd shift I gained again when we both shifted and then it was over at the top of second and I maybe had a car length plus alittle on him. He was a good sport to he didn't do anything like an *** he waved and so did his girl.

Yeah it was very interesting to hear him rev at me. I removed my hood scoop from my z31 so there was no hint of being turbocharged. So you could imagine his astonishment when he heard the BOV. Its funny though that he was kinda with me off the launch but after that there was no catching up I was gone. IT was a thing of beauty. So you got the HKS on. Did it fit right in or was there some manipulation going on. Ive heard good things about the HKS exhaust and Certified's exhaust. Did you notice any hp gains of any sort?
Yeah there were no fit problems. HP gains I don't know really. I did alot of stuff at once so I am not really sure. It may have been alittle but the only way to of known would of been to do it at another time so its just part of a slew of things making my car faster. Though I do like how it looks and how it sounds. Its stealth looking and sounding it hits low but its actually not to much different then stock. And it looks stock to the average person so I have no worries there.
awsome kill. Ive never done a from-a-stop race, I dunno why. I guess people are afraid of my car. but late at night on the freeway coming home from San Francisco I get challenged a lot. I have a few mustang GTs, preludes, a early 90s M3, all on my kill list.
oh yeah, and Im getting my HKS exhaust installed in two weekends along with a certified muffler high flow cat. yay!

Sounds like fun is being had by all! I live in Vancouver, Washington which foro those who don't know is right by Portland Oregon. We have very straight, long and wide open freeways here and I get challenged all the time at night on my way home from various outings. Most of the time it is some honda tuner car and they get beat easily. I have lost only once and it was the time that I wanted to race. What car you ask? Dodge viper. Ya he killed me. But it make me better because now I want to get the turbo. That is right race fans, I have a 85 Nt 2seater Z31. Some modest upgrades to intake, exhust, suspension. But nothing major. Still a kick *** little car.

on another note i cranked my boost up to around 12psi yesterday and raced a '94-'95 cobra, and stomped it into the ground to the tune of about 145mph... at which point i let out of it and started cruising again.. and about 5 miles down the road 5th gear went out, and i lost every gear but fourth, and had to drive 30 miles home with only fourth gear....
god bless borg warner transmissions, they take it like a trooper...till you feed em to much torque..time for a 240sx tranny......

not to burst your bubble guys, but a 3.0L turbo 6 and a 2.0/2.2L NA 4 aren't that great of competitors. besides, the S2K wasn't meant as a drag car, it's a twisties car. now if you did all of this on a touge i would be impressed, but right now it seems kinda petty. again, not trying to talk ****, just the facts.
