im getting ready to change out head gaskets on my new z31t if any one has done this befor and has any pics,segestions,or any thing let me know

 

This post should go under the 300ZX section. A Z31 is not a 280ZX.

well ok then i do owen a 280zx turbo i thouth that maby outher z owners may have knoleg about outher z cars. but atatued is more like it. i also posted it in the z31 forum im sory that i put you all out of your way.

That's true. I figured nobody with a Z31 would see your post in this forum. I saw the post but don't know anything about that engine.... its not that you can't post it here though. Did you get a response from the other forum area?

 

yes actuly i have and im sorry about that remark but honstly it was not directed to you.

it was direed too fast z.

you see as far as im concerened one who drives a z is a member of a family of all who drives z cars not just 280zx or a 350z all z alike so fastz rember" z driver is what it says "

and one day you might need some help from someone that drives a z31 , z32 ,or evean a 240z and hopfuly they dont chose the remark that you did.

Understood. I was not aware of your knowledge of the Z. I thought it could have been a mistake on your part. I would totally expect the same reaction if I went to my350z.com and posted a question about a timing chain for my 280zx. They would probably tell me about zcar.com and zdriver.com

I remember there being a forum just for the Z31. They have lots of info on their site and might already have an article on changing head gaskets or the timing belt which would be part of the job.

is it z31.org? You probably already know about that site though. AZ_Zbum is active on zdriver and the z31 forum.
