Ummm, not much compared to todays standards. They're rated at 132 Bhp @5200 & 144 ft-lb of torque at 4400 and all 280s were factory fuel injected. 1981-83 280s jumped to 145 Bhp with the addition of more compression and higher flow catalytic convertor.
