Wanted: Low Miles Diff

hey, im looking for a diff with relativley low miles on it. its for my 240z with an 82 280zx turbo motor in it. an r200 4.11 would be preferable, but anything that will fit in a 240z with low miles on it would do. Are you sure a 4:11 is what you want to use with that turbo set-up??

Just about everone I know, prefers a lower # gear with their turbo.
I would think with 4:11, 1st and 2nd gear would be useless. You would only go, say, 2 ft, before having to shift into the next gear...

(edit) BTW, I do have a low mileage 3:9 R-200 for sale IF that will work for ya....

suggestions on diff

hey, you responded to my inquiry about the diff. to be quite honest with you i don't really know a whole lot about what im doing here with the diff. My friend was making suggestions, but he drives a 88 mustang, so he wouldn't know precicley what he was talking about. any suggestions from you would be great, considering you yourself have a turbo z.

82 zxt r200 diff

I`ve got an r200 from an 82zxt. It has 78,000 mi on it. It was in a 2+2 car that rusted to the ground around it.

I`m asking 50.00+ shipping. I`m not sure of the gear ratio, but I suspect it`s 3:55 as most were.

If someone expresses interest , I can pull the cover to verify the ratio.
I`m in ohio and I`m not sure what shipping would be.
