Voltage Regulator
So I notice the voltometer on my car jumps up past 16V for a few seconds than will go back down to normal. it has done this a few times and so now Im worried at what it might be. the red alarm light above it hasnt come on yet though. My friend said my Voltage Regulator is probably going out. I wanted to consult with you guys and see if you agree with him. Has anyone changed it before? etc etc

IMPORTANT!!!
BEFORE you LEAVE the store, have them TEST the alternator. Many people have walked out with alternators that were dead right out of the box.

Thank you. As always you are a wealth of pricy information to us Z owners AZ Bum. I guess I should change it soon and not let it get any worse(even if its only happened a few times), unless you think it could just be a random fluke in the system. I will make them test the new alternator before I leave the store.
