Introucing....Me and my Z

Hello all!!

New to the forum. Wanted to share a few pics of my '86NA 5speed. Bought the car just over a year ago. It has 141k miles on it and I've spent a lot of time (and $$$ lol) getting the motor running good and adding some cosmetics!

Welcome to ZDriver! She's in great shape! Well done.

Pick up your freebie factory service manual and other cool docs at XenonZ31 Reference Manual has many easy to follow inspection and tune up pages.

Would enjoy seeing under the hood when you get the time!

Thanks and welcome again!

Super pretty car! Love the colors and how you kept the stock wheels. Mine is more stealthy, being grey on grey, sometimes I wish it was more "in your face fast" like yours. Looks like a great example of the Z31. It's too easy to spend money on these, what all have you done to her?

Not much to see there. Just you're typical VG30e engine with 141k miles on it.

Are those stock seats?
The seats came out of an '06 Acura. Had to do some fancy grinding and drilling to get the bracket holes to line up. I traced the "Z" logo onto some red leather, cut them out and then had an upholstery guy sew them into the seat covers for me.

Good job!

So... tell us what isn't working to your satisfaction yet. Maybe we can give you some suggestions. It's a great car for restoration work because when you finally get the work done, it just keeps on working right. Lets you just relax and rely on it, day after day.
