Re: 300ZX Performance Problem
Hi,
I had a similiar problem. First I brought it to a dealership and all they did was adjust the timing...didn't do anything. I then decided to do as much as I can before bringing it in anywhere.
I started at all the connectors...cleaned every one i can find. Then went at the throttle bodies with carb cleaner..and lots of rags and toothbrush. Cleaned all those nasty dead bugs out of my KN and everything was fine after that. Check out http://www.twinturbo.net/ lots of good information there and example's with pictures.
Hope this helps!
Fens.

Re: 300ZX Performance Problem
Follow fensters advice..
Make sure to check the air filter also if you haven't put ordered one yet order a new intake from strictlyz.com, that'l help to the tune of 5-10 hp as the stock intake is very restrictive and may be clogged up.
If none of that works people say the CAS is the root of all evil..
