gas in cylinder

gas in cylinder

So i replaced te bad injector in my z... it was running great but i could smell gas. i checked under the hood and it was leaking from the o ring .... i got a new one and i replace it.... when i tried to start it the engine turn a couple times.. i tried to start i again and i heard clack a loud clack ..... i check and it smeled like gas.... i took tha spark plug and there is gas in the cylinder..... i got it out with a pump and tried to started again the sae thing happen the noise again..... once more the cylinder had gas..... what could it bee

A crushed o ring????? How could that be im not saying ur wrong i just have no clue what that would do would u mind explaining to me what that would do just so i get a betrer idea oh whats happening to my engine

If you put the o-rings in wrong (or forced the injector in improperly), it will pinch the o-ring out of place... then, fuel would be able to get into the engine without going through the injector, thus flooding the cylinder. Remove the injector and replace the o-rings. Be very careful when reinstalling not to allow the o-rings to move out of place. There may be tips somewhere online detailing how to do it.
