I have a car we are working on and the cust is complaining about the idle.1995 twin with daul pop charger,Jim Wolf box,740 nismo injectors,JWT 530BB turbos,Tomei solid lift cams 270 Dur/10.25 lift,BDE cam gears,downpipes.I smoke checked the motor and no leaks.How bad is the idle with these solid lift cams?Ben at Jim Wolf said they should not be in a street motor,any thoughts or ideas would be helpful. What is wrong with the idle? The cams aren't the only thing in that mod list that will negatively impact idle, but you've made no mention of what the idle is doing.

 

It idles like a motor with big cams.We have only had stock cams in the other motors,so I was hoping to find someone else with these cams to see how their motor idled

 

Try TwinTurbo.NET... not many heavily modded Z32's on here, but TwinTurbo.NET is the home of 9-second Z32's, 4-digit horsepower Z32's, etc. But when you post, make sure your questions are detailed and specific... they will tear you apart if you make a vague post like your initial post here.
