ok so my z31 was hit a few days ago by my boss () and now her insurance has determined to call my car a total loss. it's still drivable but now they want to hold my car till they determine what the value of my car is. i'll try to post pix but other than that any estimates?

 

If they total it you can always buy it back (usually ~$100) and take the reimbursement check & do the work yourself, though the title will then be salvaged.

Where did it get hit? How much damage? Pics?

 

rear quarter panel from wheel well to the bumper on the pasanger side and it's just pushed in. and it's already salvaged.

 

I don't think an already salvaged title would matter. Call up your insurance & ask them how much to buy it back if they total it.

 

They can't hold the car. If it's legally drivable then it should be in your possession until you settle.

yes an 09 charger but with the baby engine 2.7 i call it th gutless wonder but its cool to mess around with i was also going to ask suggestions of things to do in it i tried drifting but no power+auto= drift fail. but i have punched it and gone past 100mph. oh yeah and i tried burning out and that was a big no go.

i tried and there is no button. and no hoov but i am going to check out a 280zxt and i did get to keep my car and they paid me out 2000 which is what i paid for it.but i guess if i can get the 280zx and it all works out i could just sell you the car back if you want hoov.
p.s. the right side was already hit cause the damage exposed some bondo.
