tapping
I too am hearing a tapping noise but i believe that it is coming from somewhere around my electrical stuff like in the fans or something because i seem to only hear it once i have driven and parked it...if i shut my engine off i still here it but i dont' know what it is..can anyone help? thanks

It isn't the tapping you get when your oil is too low because i know what that sounds like and it isn't that...and it isn't my engine fan cooling down because it happens when my car is idling....it seems more like it is coming from just behind my dash...thanks

find a cheap junkyard and get several of them. that way if more than one is bad, you'll have enough.
test each one of them (procedure is probably in a factory manal - not sure, i've never had to do it). if you've got small hands, then you can probably do it without removing much of the interior. Oh, and it helps to be a good contortionist (laying on drivers floor to get to them...).
no clue what a place would charge to fix, but i'm sure it wouldn't be cheep.
