I am at wits end i have lost all total hope in 280zx's sigh

the 1982 280zxt 2+2 keeps dieing on me.. meening it looses spark i get fuel and air but the coil stops working for some odd reason any body know the fix ? please write me back thanks

its the only way for me to get to work now besides riding my bike. sigh...

^^^ Indeed... check the coil / ignitor.

 

when coils go bad they get hot and stop producing spark, usually they start leaking their oil to with this problem. just get a new coil.

 

lol, it sounds like you knew the problem all along...

 

better yet, let it heat up and stick a finger on your igniter. If it burns you, thats your problem, if not buy a new coil. Then kick the tire. That always works.
