Unhappy MORE fuel probs "AGAIN"

OK here we go again... 83 turbo 5 spd
NOW as before I rewired the fuel pump with a good switch an inline fuse heavy duty wire the hole thing.
after I was done the car started and RAN like a raped ape...
I WAS PUMP...
NOW I degreased the engine made it look sharp.. and the dam thing for some reason "when its runnin and driveing" wont go over 2 grand on the tack... it just falls and then it will start runnin at about 1000RPM and then fall and wont go it will do this over and over.I can go threw the gears and it runs just not over 2 grand.
it stays running AND the RPMs will rev but when in gear and at about 2RPM it fall and almost dies..
NOW I checked the DISTRIBTOR NO water in it.....dry as a bone.. but like ai said it will REV up no prob..
made sure all of the engine stuff was dry ..left started...checked everything.
even blew the lines out a little AGAIN .. return line seams good but tryin to blow the main line back seams a little prob.."maybe"

COULD since the fuel was sloshing around kicked up dirt ?
the last time I took it around the block sounded like it was kinda pluged or not getting enuf fuel AGAIN

it has a new pump, filter, and enjectors even NEW gas but it did sit for almost 2 years... year and a half... could I have kicked dirt in the tank ?

SOULD I drop tank ? or just run some tank cleaner and some of that stuff called heat in it?
HELP_ AGAIN AND AGAIN
thanks

You just need to dry all sensor connections... especially the TPS, AFM, and head temp. Also pop off the distrib cap & blow dry it or let it air dry (just cuz it "looks" dry, doesn't mean there isn't any moisture there).

we need to put a sticky on the front page about this common TPS problem. Seems like every week or so someone cleans their engine and then cant get over 2k due to a wet TPS
