partial heater fix for auto climate control

after reading and talking to u guys for a few months now, i found that putting good money into the auto control heat system is a total waste. its a bad system, but if u live in a cold area like montana or other areas u need heat!! my fix , after finding that the heater valve was junk and not wanting to put any money into it was: unscrew the bottom phillips screw under the heater valve, then gently pry the vacuum part of the valve away from the water part of the valve, only an eighth inch or so to reveal the control that opens and closes the valve. by GENTLY prying the piece toward the back of the car, i was able to get heat into the cabin of my car for the first time in over a year, and actually control how much heat i need. yes!!! i know the valve should be replaced, but the entire auto system, from what i have read is junk, and i just spent $ 800.00 on the suspension. if this can help anybody TEMPORARILY, then give it a try, it might even help if you are getting all heat and no cool air. bleach z or other guys, let us know if their is a better fix for cheap, thanks guys

Hehe, my cheapy fixit for my auto climate control was just to zip-tie some of the diaphragms under the dash that control the direction and temperature of the air.
