I bought MSA's braided steel brake line upgrade, got the four corners on no prob. Spotted the one by the front of the diff. It's male/female like the other four. But I have one left, that one is female/female. I did a search on here and what turned up just tells me that its somewhere in the rear. Where?

There should be four in the rear. Two inner and two outter lines. I never noticed what the end connections are like, but your last line is probably on the other side of the differential from the one you already replaced.

 

Ok, found it, got it on. Tried to bleed the brakes. I had someone helping me bleed the brakes. During the course of pumping, holding down, and bleeding, a couple times the pedal started to get stiff but then it started to go to the floor again. Ever since then it goes to the floor. Not slams, but pushes to the floor. We bled it from every corner, starting with the rear passenger and working our way forward. We even tried to bleed the two bleed valves on the master cyllinder, the front one would squirt, the back one did nothing. Regardless, we can't seem to get the old dark fluid out and the fresh light brown fluid through the lines, like the Master isn't pushing it through or something.

Is my master cyllinder dead?

 

did you let either of the fluid resivours run dry while bleeding? You might need to remove the master cylinder and bench bleed it to get all the old fluid and air out. Then install it and carefully bleed the brake system again.
