well i tooksies my head to the shop to get it checked out last week
they phone back...
its bad...
shes warped .016" and needs all new guides...so they quoted me 600!!!!!! dollars!!!!!
to
resurface all seats, put in new guides, plug large spark hole drill and retap it, straighten the head, pressure test it....oh god ....ouch!
but i got nothing else i can do...i can go and get another head, pay 100 dollars and who knows if that one is any good....

i also asked about a rering kit - all bearings, rings, all gaskets...400 he said...i dont know what they usualy go for ....ill see

so now im worried...i told him to hold up on the head...
im gonna bring in my block and crank and get it checked out too...

 

Damn........lots of cash there!
