Turbo ECU, Wiring harness and Turbo Air Flow Meter at least.

That is of course only if you're not using an aftermarket engine management system with MAF or MAP sensor.

put a turbo cooler on it, and a turbo oil filter as well to keep everything at smallest risk as posible.

Ok, since everyone else is piling on...

Ideally, you would have a big efficient intercooler.
Complete stand alone sequential FMS
3" Mandrel bent exhaust system all the way back
Custom turbo exhaust manifold w/ T4 mount
Custom intake manifold with large heat shield
Big Efficient blow-off valve
Large precise external waste gate with no boost creep
Forged pistons, crank and rods
550cc Injectors
60 - 80mm Throttle Body
T4 Turbo w/ 30psi

With proper tuning and adequate fuel delivery, it should make close to 600hp!

The key here is that none of this is 'necessary' for your swap. What you have and what I mentioned earlier will get you down the road.

If you want to upgrade in the process, it's a good opportunity, but can become very expensive VERY quickly.

Speed costs money... How fast do you want to spend?

Just bolt the turbo manifold and turbocharger onto your NA engine and go!

I will be doing the same upgrade. Purchased a 82 ZXT Turbo motor, ECU, and wiring harness to drop into my 78 280Z.

Please comment on need for ZXT fuel pump and relays. Are they really needed or can I use my 280Z relays and a MSD or Walbro 255 fuel pump.

Thanks
