OK i cant stand it any more so here it goes .......avatar size ... it says under changing avatar

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)."

Well i can make the 269 by 200 and they will 14.6 KB (14,958 bytes)

Why cant i post my avatar the size i want... iam keeping under the 19.5 KB limit?

i want to do this so i can put text on my avatar and EVERYONE be able to be read it:(
i add a pic off what iam trying to do ....mabe it just a pipe dream
ALSO how do i edit my user gallery i want to change my pics around and i cant fig it out :(

I use photoshop to size all of my pics down to the 19.5 kb. I can add text and do about anything else I want. If needed I'll size your pic for you......

I think only moderators and admins can have custom 'titles'

And the avitar must always be a maximum of 100x100 pixels.
Think about what it would look like with your image off in the left column like you had it. It'll push everthing else over to the right.

Must be 100x100 or smaller. But, even if it is 100x100 pixels, if the image quality is so high that it exceeds 19K at that resolution, it will be rejected. That is what it is saying.

Crop closer around your car that way the car itself appears larger in your aviatar and you see less of the driveway and awsome lawn. Good job on the landscaping though...

I cropped it for you and resized it to 100. I also took off the front plate, but didn't do that great of a job... well, here ya go

but thats bull shit because if i make then any bigger than 100 by 100 even though there well under the 19.5 KB they still wont work so...the

actually, "whichever is smaller" doesn't really apply. That's like saying

You can ship that engine if it is less than 5 feet long or weighs less than 400 pounds. Whichever is less.

HUH? you can't compare KB to pixel size or feet to pounds. Its not BS, its just a bad explanation of the rule.

The bottom line is, it can't be over 100x100 pixels do the the size constraint of the left column in our forum!!! :D

Skully changed that way back when the forum was brand new and all users were allowed to do so. It has been saved ever since. I'll see what the rules are on me changing stuff like that.

Actually I think we can change their title names around , but its a matter of us doing it and how much time we want to spend on it. I can also look at taking down the limiter for title names for a few days and let some people upgrade them. I just got burned out messing with everyone on a day to day bases .
