I have been around.. lurking in the shadows.. I am looking for a new Z so I can start over again.. Wildman has been helping me but no luck.. I already started tearing down a new motor.. its a slow process.. But I will be ready by next MSA and doing the speedlimit..

 

Z's are popin up all over here. Found a 2+2 N/A geting a full frame restro. several 2 seater N/A's popin up. So Far. i am on of the very few in my arear that knows of a Turbo Z for sale. since it's in the very back on a junk yard. never been touched. It's easy to get a Z here right now it's unreal. S130 and Z31's are the ones you can find easy.

 

Just rub it in.. haha.. if you find a clean coupe that will make a trip here for 1k or less call me!!!!

Okay so the new law in AZ is no insurance instant impound.. So I was driving to MSA doing about 95-115 range and get pulled over, CRIMINAL speeding I was at the back of the pack of Z's so I am sure the cop was pist he missed others earlier.. Anyways I was taken to jail and car impounded... Went to impound to get it out after jail, I was thinking 100-500.00 no problem, WRONG.. with new law 5k minimum.. for me it was 9785.32 after taxes, after talking to lawyers nothing I could do.. So I didnt want to pay that so time for a new Z, and I was out of town the day of the auction so I couldnt try to get it cheaper that way.. Damn po po's.. But I just found a Z tonight on craigslist.. hopefully it hasnt sold.. 240z, but its turbo and clean..

That's the law here in Ohio. See what you need to do, is find a buddy with an insurance card. Make a copy of it and then just edit it to have your name, car's vin, etc on it. I realized this could be done after being pulled over once for speeding, and then for a headlight out. I gave them the insurance card and they just glance at it. I begin to wonder if they can even tell what's on it. It occurred to me they'd probably never notice whether it was real or not.

 

If it works great but if they find out it's fake then you're in even bigger trouble, kind of like faking a driver license, vin number, or having the wrong tag on the car.

 

Finally! Man... that took a long time to get that out of you. How long were you jailed?

 

I would have waited 30 day's after the impund until it went to auction and bought it back for a song...

Thing is I thought I had insurance but it was cancelled 4 days before the ticket, I though I had another month before it cancelled.. I just wanted to drive damnit!!! I was only in jail for the night someone had to bail me out for 1200.00 it was retarded.. And during the auction I was in Mexico, so I couldnt do nothing about that.. ha.. went to jail there to..
