its a daily driver... he wasnent going for hp at all... only a fun economy engine..

if he wants to go fast, he can just jump in my car...


and the rb25 and 26 are ALOT harder to install...plus for 1300 shipped to the door, 50hp less dosent matter



after the 444cc low impeadance injectors are installed and tuned with the safc2, and bosst raised, it should be spanking rb25s in s chassis....

Ya, I was also thinking the L-series engine was kinda iffy.

The maroon Z looks nice. I still like the color. I wish they made the 350Z in that color from the factory.

RB20DET is actually pretty cheap. Cheaper than an SR20 since it has about the same power but more weight.
Looks like a clean swap, and those radiator supports are stronger than people give them credit for. I cut one completely out in a parts car and I couldn't even move the fender at all with my body weight... (maybe I'm not fat enough)
I don't think there's any problem cutting big holes in it for piping as long as you leave the upper support in place.
