i have a 1978 datsun 280z with a rebuilt 5 speed transmission with a receipt. less than 2,000 miles on the new tranny. new carpet, dash cap, grant wood steering wheel, new tune up, and converted 240z front bumper to bolt directly onto the 280z frame. plus a front air dam spoiler with brake ducts as well. old school datsun hubcaps, i havent seen any other like them, and more other things. the bad, it has an electrical issue that drained the battery and killed the car. i havent had time to look into the problem because of school, and i recently purchased a 93 sc300 5-speed. so i no longer have time for this z. there is rust on the car, but only on the rear hatch latch area, the panels near the rear wheels, (doggy panels i think), and i belive thats the only serious rust. i do have a spare hook and headlight housings as well as a painted rear louver with complete instalation hardware. i am selling the whole thing $1500 obo. i can part it out, but it depends on how many people want parts from it. the floor pans and spare tire storage areas, (areas notorious for cancer rust) have been cleaned, primed and painted. no rust there AT ALL. i will post pictures up later of the car. the front is a 240z/280z hybrid. it has the 280z grille and blinker lights, 240z bumper and blinker lights, and the front air dam spoiler. it looks clean to me. interior is complete, and the seats are mint. before the electrical problem, all gauges were operational. spare tire and emergency tool kits are near mint as well. i dont need this car anymore, so if anyone wants it let me know. i am VERY flexible on the price, but please, be reasonable. i will consider trades as well. anything from rims to laptops. but depending on what it is, there will be some cash on top. I NEED THIS THING GONE!

Nice looking S30!!! But those center grill turn signals need to be removed. No sense in having 4 front turn signals.

the center grill signals are not turn signals. i wired them so that they act as regular lights. when you turn the lights on, they look like orange fog lights. it looks pretty cool. the dont ever signal when the bottom two signal either. they just stay orange. gives it a unique look.

how about a part out guys. no one wants it as a whole, so what about a part out??

I hate seeing things that are together and not held together by rust being parted out...

I'd be interested but I just took the 240 to a body shop for paint. Have you tried Ebay or craigslist?
