I was heading home from Cali, stopped in Barstow for some lunch. Was standing in line and I was asked if I knew of anyone looking for a 240Z in decent shape. I know there is a market for decent 240's here so I figured I would post it up for someone to snag it.

Anyways, here is the brief info I got from him.

Its a 71 240Z, "bone stock, straight body." He said something about it having a "special head." I don't know what's so special about it or if it really is special, but he made it sound like it was a high performance/race spec head. He is asking $1,000 for it. Who knows it may have the DOHC head

I would take it if I had a place to keep it. Having 2 vehicles already and living in an apartment sucks. I hope it's as good as he was making it out to be...

Freaking Barstow... About the only good thing about that place is the McDonalds in the train cars.

$1k for a clean 240z is worth a drive there....

Yeah, I almost got ran over by a Flat-Biller while I was there... I guess it serves me right for walking in a parking lot...

I wish I knew what the "special head" was, but it's probably best I don't. I don't want to sell my truck. Driving a Z in the winter woudln't work out too well.

prob just an E31 head, most of them have been eatin up by the racers by now so there kinda rare
