hey all, just acquired a new parts car. it's a 72 240z. 40,300 actual miles. the car was purchased in taiwan by a navy serviceman, shipped back here to ny in 77 and driven in one of our winters-then parked. the oxidation process slowly did it's job and left the exterior in a decrepid state. the interior is fairly untouched. perfect dash, console, near new fuse block & cover, original working radio [i tested it last nite] and mint faceplate, heater control panel, interior panels, dome light, map light, complete lock set [with both original keys]. i'm slowly removing all the useable parts, then bringing them into my basement where i'll clean them up and...sell most to support my own z habit. need any parts, shoot me an email. i'd rather not ship the dash but...

 

yes, it's still sitting in the car but i haven't had a chance to test to see if the motor works.

 

both the front & rear bumpers looked like someone played bumper cars with them-especially the rear. the heater blower motor is now out of the car, i tested it and it works. i also have the rear wiring harness [in nice shape] which someone was going to get back to me about.

 

maybe far fetched but what shape is the roof exterior? also how about door panels and headliner. HOw much for the dash. Maybe a package deal. Open to trades. Ive got lots of parts to get rid of and a tight budget. let me know.

 

roof exterior in ok shape-car heading to the crusher within the next week...

headliner in nice shape as is the dash. asking $400 for the dash-and i'll throw in the roof if u come pick it up-i'm in rochester, ny

 

Do you still have the seats? and if so what color are they?

 

sorry, both seats sold already and fenders were rusty. car was picked up by the flatbed yesterday heading for the great z heaven in the sky.

 

sorry, sold the complete lock set and 2 original keys about a month ago
