Hello to all,

This Z was sold 9/04 by a very happy buyer!

It's finally time to part with this aged veteran.

I bought it new in March, 1982. The wife used it as a daily driver for all these years. It was literally driven by a little old, aging, school teacher.

It's been through a few turbos at the dealers expense. The engine was replaced 2 years ago, transmission rebuilt August, 2003.

It runs very good and still buries the boost gauge!

Details;

1982 280 ZX Turbo 2+2 T Top
Suede leather in great shape
Cracked dash, but I'll throw in the MotorSport Auto Dash Cap
Needs AC dash module
Never been wrecked but it needs paint, Metallic Brown
Rear hatch area & headliner in bad shape due to sun damage.
New tires, Cat converter.
No rust or issues with floor panels, MAP or the usual stuff.
Except for appearance, it's been maintained and oil changes on very precise basis.

I'm anxious to send it to a better home. It would be a great project vehicle for the right person.

I'll entertain most offers, please let me know if you're interested. I won't be keeping this vehicle for too much longer.

If I had the room, I'd fix it up and restore it just for fun.

Hello John Ray,

I've tried to be up front about the car. It's in pretty good mechanical condition. The paint is rough and the interior, head liner, and general plastic stuff is really beat up. It has never been wrecked.

I've replaced the radio with a single CD unit, but I still have the original unit.

Anyway, We'd be happy to get $1,500. I'm very firm about that. The front tires have less than 5K and the backs are around 10K.

The car needs a lot of project work to look it's best. The seats are in great condition. The front's have been covered with sheep skins all these years. The back seats have seldom been used.

I just put a catalytic converter in last Friday and plan to take it over to get the smog finished up this week.

If john ray does not buy the car i may, I am buying a turbo in san deigo 1983 turbo coupe and in restoring this burgandy car like the one i sold a few years back if you search my username you see pics of my old one, at any rate my interest is the nusuede leather interior, and if he is interested in the car with cloth than he could have the car and i would split the cost with him and through in the cloth red seats i have , The interior is burg? thanks wally
